        We believe that Christian faith is about relationships. It is about our relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and our relationships with each other. 

Becoming a member of a church is a way that we identify with other Believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is a commitment to a lifetime of learning and growing in our relationship with God and with one another. Being a part of a local church is a way that we witness to our faith in God and open ourselves to relationships that only a Christian community can offer. 

This is the reason that we, the Bellegrove Church invite persons who are not members to make this community their church home. Won’t you consider becoming a member of the Bellegrove Missionary Baptist Church?

Who can join The Grove? 

Anyone! 

Does it cost anything to join the church? 

There is no cost to be a member of our church, however, our church operates through the financial donations of its members. 

What are the ways that a person can join the church? 

There are 4 basic ways. 

1) Profession of Faith and Baptism. This is when a person is making their first public profession of faith in Christ as Lord and Savior.  This does not necessarily mean that you are just becoming a believer at the time, but that you are now making your decision public, requesting baptism and membership. 

2) Transfer of Letter. This is just a fancy way of saying that you are already a member of another church, and are simply wanting to move your membership to our church. We understand and recognize that not all churches have “membership” and that you may just simply be joining our church without an official transfer. 

3) Statement of Christian Experience. This option is for those who are neither making a first-time profession of faith OR coming from another church. New members in this category are simply saying, “I’m not a new Christian, and I don’t have a current church membership but I want to be a member of this church.” 

4) Virtual Member. This option is for those who cannot physically attend our main campus but want to be a part of our church. As a virtual member you will benefit from weekly teachings/worship services, prayer gatherings, and other activities that are reserved for members only. If you  live 25 miles from our main campus, are home-bound, have moved away and desire to be affiliated with our church or have not found a church home yet, are a College student who is away at school but want to continue to be able to hear the Word of God on a weekly basis, job requires you to be on the road or away from home the majority of the time, are serving in our US Military and/or recovering from surgery or procedures that require home or medical care stay.
